Francis McClure Payne (1861-1909).

Francis was born to Edward and Elizabeth Payne (nee Enock) in Edgbaston, Birmingham in 1861.

On the 2nd June 1861, Francis was baptized at St. John in Ladywood, Birmingham.

Francis grew up on the Duchess Road in Edgbaston.

Between 1863 and 1871, the family were living in Aylesbury House in Packwood, Warwickshire. 

In 1881, the family were living at 6 Lottie Road in Northfield, Birmingham. In the census, Francis lists his occupation as a 'Hospital Secretary'.

In 1894, Francis married Alice Maude Elliott in Northfield, Birmingham.

In 1901, Francis and Alice were living on Hook Mill in Newnham, Northamptonshire. Francis lists his occupation as a 'Metal Merchant'.

On the 14th November 1909, Francis passed away at 33a Brunswick Square in Hove, Sussex aged 48 years.
