Lucy Ann Laming (nee Biffen) (1858-1941). Lucy was born to William and Ann Biffen (nee Halford) in 1858, in Stoke Newington, London, England. Lucy was baptized on the 9th May 1858 in Stoke Newington. It is assumed that Lucy spent her first few years living on Lordship Lane (changed to Red Lion Lane and then back to Lordship Lane) in Stoke Newington, as this is where her parents were living on the 1851 census. View Larger Map In 1861, Lucy and family were living on the Howard Road in Stoke Newington. View Larger Map In 1867, Lucy's father William passed away aged 44 years. In the 1871 census, Lucy, her mother and siblings had moved back to Lordship Lane (although it was by now called Red Lion Lane) to live with his grand father. In 1879, Lucy married Arthur Frederick Laming, (Harness Maker, 1858-1929, born on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire) on the Isle of Wight, England. The couple had 3 children, Fanny, Charles and Laura. Between 1889 and 1891, the family were living at 82 Belmont Street in St. Pancras in London. View Larger Map In 1901, the family were living at 5 Melton Road in Tottenham, London. Between 1928-1930, Lucy was living at 55 Lawrence Road in Tottenham, London. View Larger Map In 1929, Lucy's husband passed away aged 71 years.
