Description | Joe asks for as much information as possible about family and friends, and reveals that the official authorities want him to stay in Lisbon for a little longer to get himself into a fitter condition, coupled with one or two other things. Joe settles a few debts, and describes life living with Wilhelm Holst & his wife in Marseilles. Joe asks for his passport to be sent to the Foreign Office so a new one can be issued at the British Consulate in Lisbon. Joe talks about his current state of health, discusses life in Lisbon, reveals that he spent a week in a Spanish prison, and talks about his employment plans back in the UK |
